The Foster Youth to Independence housing voucher is available to young adults under the age of 25 who have been in the child welfare system. This voucher can be used for up to 36 months. The voucher will help you pay your rent. Ask your case manager about the FYI voucher if you are interested in applying.
Who Qualifies for the FYI voucher?
- Must be ages 18 – 24 AND Have left foster care OR
- Those 16 or older that will leave foster care within 90 days and are at risk of being homeless
